The following Booking Conditions form the basis of your contract with Algarve-Art-Retreat, Casa Estrela Da Vida No. 37, Vale Telheiro 8100-334 Loulé, Portugal.

Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations.
1. Making your booking
Once you have completed your booking with Algarve-Art-Retreat you will receive a confirmation invoice to your named email address. Please check this invoice carefully as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if any information which appears on the confirmation or any other document appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be possible to make changes later. After our approval you will receive a confirmation email of your booking and payment.
In order to confirm your chosen course, full payment must be completed at the time of booking. We strongly recommend that you use our PayPal services. If you have not got a PayPal account or Credit Card you are also able to use Bank Transfer. Using Bank Transfer full payment must be completed within 7 Days after booking.
Non-payment of the balance or any part of the fee by the due date will be treated as a cancellation and the place may be reallocated without further notice.
3. The cost of your holiday
We reserve the right to make changes to and correct errors in advertised prices at any time before your holiday is confirmed. We will advise you of any error of which we are aware and of the then applicable price at the time of booking. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold holidays at any time.
4. Cancellations & non attendance
Cancellations must be made in writing or email to the Address of Algarve-Art-Retreat. Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your holiday once it has been confirmed, please immediately advise us in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only be effective when it is received in writing by us. The following cancellation charges will be payable. Where the cancellation charge is shown as a percentage, this is calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the person(s) cancelling.
If cancellation is received by us, prior to 40 days before the start of your course, we will refund 100% minus a cancellation charge of 250€ per booking. Cancellation 39-21 days before start of your course we will refund 50%. No refund can be made less than 20 days prior to the start of the course. In the event you are unable to attend part of the course it is regretted that there will be no pro-rata reimbursement of monies paid or replacement course time allocated. Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges under the terms of your insurance policy.
In the unlikely case that Algarve-Art-Retreat has to cancel a course we will refund all monies paid for the course. Algarve-Art-Retreat will endeavour not to cancel a course unless absolutely necessary or events occur beyond our control but we do reserve the right to do so. If a tutor is unable to tutor a course due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to, illness or accident we reserve the right to use another tutor who can tutor the chosen subject and medium.
5. Force Majeure
Force Majeure except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force majeure”. In these Booking Conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.
We regret we are not in a position to offer you any assistance in the event of delay at your outward or homeward point of departure. Any airline concerned may however provide refreshments.
It is the responsibility of each guest to arrange their own flights and travel insurance We strongly recommend you take out full travel insurance.
Algarve-Art-Retreat has public liability insurance. In the event of a holiday being cut short or cancelled for whatever reason, our liability is limited to no more than the total paid for the holiday.
8. Arrival Date
Guests may arrive at the Algarve-Art-Retreat from 2pm on the arrival date (which is the day before the course start date). If booked separately, Airport Transfer will be available from the Faro airport at set times throughout the day. Please let us know your arrival times at the airport.
9. Painting Course
You are free to paint of course on the days off, if you wish, but there will be no tuition. On the day off, no lunch will be available at the Algarve-Art-Retreat.
Art materials required, unless otherwise stated it is expected that you will bring your own art materials. It is possible that we can supply you with paints/paper on the course at an extra cost.
10. Departure Date
On the departure date Check out Time is at 4pm. If you have booked airport transportation all guests will be taken to Faro airport.
11. Extend your holiday
You can arrange to stay extra nights after the course, at an additional charge which normally not includes breakfast.
